Ubiquiti AMO-5G13 is a 5 GHz, 13 dBi airMAX Omni Antenna
Per piece
The Ubiquiti AMO-5G13 is a 5 GHz, 13 dBi airMAX Omni Antenna. It's a carrier-class, omnidirectional antenna designed for creating Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) base stations. Unlike a sector antenna that provides a wide but defined coverage area (e.g., 90° or 120°), this omnidirectional antenna broadcasts a 360° signal.

Operating Frequency: It operates in the 5 GHz frequency band (5.45 - 5.85 GHz). This less crowded band is ideal for high-speed wireless networking.
Antenna Gain and Coverage: With a 13 dBi gain, the AMO-5G13 provides a powerful signal with 360° coverage, making it a great choice for covering a large, circular area.
MIMO Technology: The antenna is a 2x2 MIMO (Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) device, which allows it to use dual-linear polarization to transmit and receive data simultaneously on both vertical and horizontal polarities. This enhances throughput and improves link stability.
Seamless Integration: The AMO-5G13 is designed to seamlessly integrate with Ubiquiti's Rocket M radios. It has a built-in mount that allows you to snap the Rocket radio directly onto the antenna without any special tools, creating a powerful, all-in-one base station.
Weatherproof Design: It's built with a robust, weatherproof design that can withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including high winds (up to 200 km/h or 125 mph).
Downtilt: It has a 2° electrical downtilt, which helps to focus the signal slightly downward, ensuring better coverage for clients closer to the base of the tower.
The AMO-5G13 is a great solution for network operators who need to provide wireless service to many clients in a dispersed, wide-area environment.
