Per piece
The MikroTik hAP ax² (C52iG-5HaxD2HaxD-TC) is a powerful and compact dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router and access point. It's a key entry-level device in MikroTik's Wi-Fi 6 lineup, offering a significant upgrade over previous models. The "-TC" at the end of the model name stands for "Tower Case," referring to its upright form factor.
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax): This is the core technology. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, providing faster speeds, lower latency, and improved efficiency in high-density environments. Compared to the previous generation, it offers up to 90% higher speed in 2.4 GHz and up to 40% higher speed in 5 GHz networks. The combined wireless speed is rated as AX1800.
Processor & Memory: It's powered by a quad-core 864 MHz ARM CPU with 1 GB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND storage. This hardware is robust enough to handle complex firewall rules, VPNs with IPsec hardware acceleration, and other advanced RouterOS features.
Ports: The router has five Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which supports PoE-in to power the device, and another which supports PoE-out to power another device. It does not have a USB port.
RouterOS v7: The hAP ax² runs on MikroTik's powerful and versatile RouterOS v7, giving users access to a full suite of enterprise-grade networking features without any extra fees or subscriptions.
Antenna Gain: It has integrated antennas with a gain of 4.5 dBi for 2.4 GHz and 4 dBi for 5 GHz, providing a strong and reliable signal for most homes.
Design: The tower case design allows for a small footprint, and its passive cooling (fanless) operation makes it a silent device suitable for any room. It can also be wall-mounted with the included kit.
